1) GERRY AND THE PACEMAKERS : FERRY CROSS THE MERSEY
Muzikál , Velká Británie, 1965, 88 min
Režie: Jeremy Summers
Kamera: Gilbert Taylor
Hudba: George Martin
Hrají: T.P. McKenna, Margaret Nolan, Elisabeth Sladen, George Martin, Mona Washbourne
2) THE WHO : GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL 2015
The Who closed the final day of Glastonbury Festival in true rock and roll style, trashing the stage and swearing at backstage staff. The band fronted by guitarist Pete Townshend and lead singer Roger Daltrey stormed the stage opening with their signature tune Who Are You? followed by favourites My Generation and Baba O'Riley. Townshend repeatedly complained about the sound, shouting to backstage "it's f***ing c**p", before Daltrey pulled over a plastic screen and knocked over microphones so they could hear the drums better.
The rockers made a swipe at Saturday's headliner rapper Kanye West, telling the crowd: "We're going to make a big f***ing rebellion; yeah, who's the biggest rock star in the world? It must be Elvis Presley." During his set, the rapper had declared that he was "the biggest rock star in the world". Fans were full of praise for the energetic set, although some punters thought that Daltrey had a point with his complaints about the sound quality. One user wrote: “I was great to see the who at Glastonbury last night, Roger Daltry is right though, the sound system is c**p, the vocal mike was rubbish (sic)” Another summed the night up perfectly, tweeting: "The Who at Glastonbury #masterclass"
Meanwhile, it appears the My Generation rock gods could be calling it a day as they look to stop performing after their current tour.
