TOMMY CASTRO & the PAINKILLERS

Tommy Castro (born April 15, 1955, San Jose, California, United States) is an American blues, R&B and rock guitarist and singer. He has been recording since the mid-1990s. His music has taken him from local stages to national and international touring. His popularity was marked by his winning the 2008 Blues Music Award for Entertainer of the Year. According to The Chicago Sun-Times, Castro plays "Memphis soul-drenched R&B…top-of-the-line blues."^[1] Blurt^[who?]added, "Castro has a soulful voice, searing guitar and is an excellent songwriter and vocalist. If you close your eyes you will be convinced that you are listening to Otis Redding singing in 1967…tremendous."

ARAM BAJAKIAN : The SUBTERRANEANIS

Aram Bajakian (* 1977) je americký kytarista arménského původu. Za svůj vzor označil britského kytaristu Jimmyho Page.^[1] Vystupovat začal již ve svých deseti letech; brzy poté založil skupinu Thingummy, se kterou vydal v roce 1995 album nazvané Red. Později působil v několika dalších skupinách a v letech 2005 až 2007 byl členem kapely The Anthem Sound. V roce 2011 vydal na značceTzadik Records své první sólové album Kef.^[2]

V roce 2012 odehrál turné s kytaristou a zpěvákem Lou Reedem a téhož roku nahrál album Abraxas: Book of Angels Volume 19 a basistou Shanirem Ezrou Blumenkranzem. Spolu se zpěvačkou Julií Ulehla působí ve skupině Brno, se kterou hraji lidové písně z Moravy. Během své kariéry spolupracoval i s dalšími hudebníky, mezi které patří John Zorn, Yusef Lateef, Diana Krall nebo Sean Lennon.
